Lauri Fortino, author of The Peddler's Bed, will host a launch party for the official release of her book at the DeWiit Community Library in DeWitt, NY on Saturday, September 19 at 11am.

Come hear the story (geared for ages 3 to 7), then make crafts based on the book. Decorate a pillow case, color a bed picture, or create a whimsical tree. See a tabletop replica of the peddler's bed, made by Joe Kolceski. And enjoy delicious refreshments, including birthday cake! Book signing follows.

Copies of the book will be available for sale. Thanks to Barnes & Noble, DeWitt, a percentage of sales will go to benefit the Library.
