Andrea Tripke, the illustrator of the children’s picture books A Girl Named October and Selfie the Elfie will take you on her journey from being a hobby artist to a professional illustrator. With the help of sketches and paintings from the work process A Girl Named October  Andrea will cover design ideas, page layouts, choosing reference material, creating moods through color choices, and other aspects of illustration.
